Big Screen Entertainment Group Announces New President.

HOLLYWOOD -- The board of directors of Big Screen Entertainment Group (OTC: BSEG) announces the promotion of David Zappone, the current head of business affairs, to the position of president. Kimberley Kates, who has served as president since 2004, will remain the company's CEO and chairperson.

Zappone joined the company in 2005, coming from a balanced entertainment and business background. He graduated from prestigious Vassar College in 1990, with a degree in Drama and Political Science. At Vassar, he also began his career as a filmmaker. After graduation, he joined his father's commercial real estate firm, The Francis T. Zappone Co., headquartered in Waterbury, Conn., and still serves as its vice president. After earning advanced professional designations in residential and commercial real estate, Zappone created the highly successful REO sales department at the company, and led the market in foreclosure sales for several years. In 1995, along with his father, Francis T. Zappone, he formed JTK Enterprises, an investment company with extensive commercial holdings.

As a producer, Zappone has been involved with several BSEG films, including "The Mirror" and "Lightfield's Home Videos," and is involved with assisting Kates in setting up two new projects to be announced soon for BSEG.

CEO Kates stated that she is very happy with the board's decision. "BSEG is experiencing explosive growth, not only with our numerous films in various stages of production, but with a new television show and now a new Internet magazine BSEG will be launching soon. David has directly contributed to this growth, and his appointment as president solidifies his long term involvement with the company. His integrity, honesty and extensive business experience continues to be valuable to me and BSEG."

BSEG has three films scheduled for release this year, including "The Mirror," starring Kelly LeBrock, and "Lightfield's Home Videos," directed by Lightfield Lewis and executive produced by Academy Award winner Gus Van Sant.
