Big Rock relocates Distribution Center, acquires company.

 announced the relocation of its AWR AWR Automatic Workload Repository (Oracle database)

AWR American Warmblood Registry
 Sports Distribution Center in California from El Cajon to Fresno, where it will be fully operational by November.

"The move enables us to provide next-day service to a much broader area, including all the major markets in California," said Adrian Holler. The Fresno facility is located near major national shipping hubs for UPS and Federal Express, and will increase available warehouse space by 30 percent, according to Big Rock. This will allow AWR Sports to provide product selection and order fulfillment not only in California, but also in the growing customer bases in Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado markets, according to Jack Autry, AWR Sports general manager.

Big Rock also announced the acquisition of Universal Telescopic.

"The acquisition of Universal Telescopic and our Big Rock Sports companies in the strategically important West Coast market will enhance our ability to provide unparalleled service to our independent retailers," said Holler.

In addition to the expanded customer base provided by Univeral Telescopic, the Big Rock Sports companies will market and sell P-line fishing line and tackle accessories.
