I-Link's independent representatives to transition to Big Planet;

agreement increases Big Planet's sales force and allows for the

sale of I-Link's enhanced telephony products

Big Planet, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. (NYSE: NUS), Thursday signed a strategic marketing and channel agreement with I-Link (Nasdaq: ILNK), an enhanced voice and data communications company. Under terms of the agreement, I-Link's independent network marketing sales force and its sales volumes will transition intact to Big Planet, and Big Planet will become the exclusive global network marketing distributor of I-Link's enhanced products and services within the residential and small business markets.

The more than 50,000 active U.S. Nu Skin Enterprises (including Big Planet) and I-Link distributor sales force will be able to sell all of I-Link's Internet protocol (IP) telephony products and enhanced services. The effective date of the transfer of I-Link's IRs to Big Planet is expected to be Feb. 15, 2000. Other established sales channels for I-Link's products and services will remain unaffected by the agreement.

In addition, I-Link will actively pursue opportunities to leverage Nu Skin Enterprises' international presence to expand the offering of I-Link's products and services in foreign markets as Big Planet expands its services. Nu Skin Enterprises has 500,000 independent distributors worldwide.
