Big Mac meets little car.

THIS was the horror scene which greeted one poor motorist yesterday.

The BMW sports car had been parked at Junction Way yesterday afternoon and the owner is believed to have gone into the Cineworld complex at Llandudno Junction.

But while they were away, a huge lorry has crushed the soft top sports car.

One eyewitness said the refrigerated articulated lorry, which was apparently making deliveries to the McDonalds restaurant appears to have driven over the Z4 sports car.

"I don't know how it happened because by the time I arrived it was already underneath the lorry. I think it reversed into it and somehow the car has become trapped and dragged beneath the huge wagon's trailer."

The five-year-old gun-metal grey car was badly damaged and had to be carried away by a North Wales Recovery vehicle.

There were no injuries.

A spokeswoman for McDonalds Restaurant said: "We are aware of an incident involving one of our distribution lorries and a car at the McDonalds Llandudno Junction.

"We will be carrying out an investigation into what happened."
