Big City Radio to Acquire HIH; Company Announces Appointment of Charles M. Fernandez As President and Chief Executive Officer.

Charles Fernandez brings over fifteen years of experience in the broadcasting industry, having held various positions in management, sales and programming. Prior to joining Big City Radio, Mr. Fernandez founded Hispanic Internet Holdings, Inc. Until 1996, Mr. Fernandez held positions of Executive Vice President and Director of Heftel Broadcasting. Throughout his career, Mr. Fernandez has served on various corporate boards. He is a member of the National Association of Broadcasters and a graduate of Florida International University Florida International University, primarily at University Park, Miami; coeducational; chartered 1965, opened 1972. A research university, it has 18 colleges and schools and many specialized centers and institutes, including those in biomedical engineering, database .

Fernandez replaces Michael Kakoyiannis, who has resigned to pursue other interests.
