Big City Radio Takes Action to Increase Ratings and Revenue in Los Angeles.

Debuts New Morning Show for Modern Rock Y-107, Los Angeles 

Big City Radio, Inc., (AMEX: YFM) a technology-driven, low-investment builder, owner and operator of competitive radio stations in the United States' most lucrative radio markets, today announced that its Modern Rock Y-107, Los Angeles station will debut Frank Murphy, Mark Wilson and Ted Schermerhorn as the hosts of its new Y-107 Morning Show on Wednesday, March 17, 1999. Additional Y-107 airstaff to be announced will include radio personalities from award winning major market stations.

Frank Murphy's extensive radio background includes Morning Show Producer for KROQ-FM, Los Angeles' Kevin & Bean Show, KPWR-FM (Power 106), Los Angeles' Jay Thomas Show and WAVA-FM, Washington, DC's Don & Mike Show.

Mark Wilson joins Y-107 from KZOZ-FM, San Luis Obispo, CA, where he hosted the popular morning show. Wilson's experience includes mornings at WFAT-FM, Kalamazoo, MI, writing for Redd Foxx Productions and stand up comedy, acting and commercial roles.

Ted Shermerhorn, better known as Anthony, joins Y-107 after producing and serving as a morning show personality on KZOK-FM, Seattle's Robin & Maynard Show. Shermerhorn has also worked as Assistant Producer and "Street Guy" for KLOS-FM, Los-Angeles' Mark & Brian Show.
