, "World Business Review" premiered in September 1996 as an informative business and technology series. The program provides a forum for the world's leading executives to share their expertise and a showcase for emerging technological solutions.

The focus of the episode in which Weinreb will appear is the development of equitable franchise contracts. Susan Kezios, president of the American Franchisee Association and member of the "World Business Review" advisory board, will serve as moderator of the panel.

"Big City Bagels is a franchisor that doesn't place its opportunity for profit ahead of the franchisee," Kezios said. "There is nothing in franchising that dictates that one party must benefit at the expense of the other. Big City Bagels is an example of a franchisor with that philosophy. It is truly an equitable franchise company."

Incorporated in December 1992, Big City Bagels completed an initial public offering earlier this year that raised approximately $5.1 million. The company currently has retail stores operating in California, Arizona, Minnesota and Utah, as well as new franchises in development in Washington, Idaho and Texas. Big City Bagels also has won catering contracts with numerous restaurants, prominent hotel chains, hospitals and a major airline.
