The race takes place at 6.30pm on Friday, July 24 and signals the start of the popular Big Cheese Weekend running throughout Saturday and Sunday. The festival is the highlight of Caerphilly County Council's summer events programme and regularly attracts more than 80,000 visitors to Caerphilly town centre for a weekend of fun and sunshine.
