Big Brother style will be coming to Tesco.

Staff keep eye on the bosses for Ty Hafan OH brother! Managers at a superstore in South Wales are going to be getting the Big Brother treatment - from their own staff.

The 20-strong management team at Tesco in Talbot Green have volunteered to be voted in - or out - of the popularity stakes at work.

Over the next two months, staff at the store at the New Parc Shopping Precinct will be keeping a close eye on their managers.

Every other week the votes will be cast - and four of the managers will be counted out of the challenge.

And the final four will have to spend a night locked in the Tesco Big Brother house at the Talbot Green store where they will have to perform a series of tasks.

The managers are all being sponsored by staff, family and friends, with all the money raised being donated to the Echo-Ty Hafan Children's Hospice Appeal.

Big Brother challenge organiser Gail Williams, who works on the check-outs at the store, said: "We're going to have a lot of fun with this.

"The voting starts today and the first four managers will be out of the house this Friday."

Ty Hafan's corporate officer Leigh Ann Hills will judge the final night in the Tesco Big Brother house on Monday, December 3.

The Tesco Talbot Green store has adopted Ty Hafan as its charity for the year and has already raised pounds 1,000 at a karaoke night.
