OTC See over-the-counter market (OTC). symbol BIGB) reported today that it once again had achieved both record sales and earnings. Based on these earnings and as an expression of confidence in the outlook for the fiscal year, Big B's, Board of Directors voted to increase the quarterly dividend 25% to $.05 per share. The dividend is payable June 23, 1995 to shareholder of record on June 9, 1995. For the fourteen week first quarter which ended May 6, 1995, net earnings reached a record $4,807,000 up 17.4% from $4,094,000 in the prior year. Earnings per share rose to $.28 from $.24. Sales rose to a record $195,183,000 up 8.8% from $179,315,000 previously.
