Biffa cash could help nature bid.


A PROJECT to develop land at a Valleys school into a nature reserve could get a pounds 1,000 boost.

Town ward councillors in Merthyr Tydfil want the cash from the Biffa landfill profit share scheme to be awarded to Ysgol Santes Tudful Parent and Friends Association to further studies and improve the environment.

Meanwhile, councillors in Penydarren ward want pounds 6,000 of its Biffa allocation to go towards the cost of moving changing rooms on Prince Charles Hospital An NHS district hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. It opened in 1978. External links
