Bids for Artenius.


TWO bidders were reported over the weekend to be in discussions to buy the mothballed Artenius plastics plant at Wilton.

The Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week.  Times said US group International Process Plants - a global supplier of used processing plants and processing equipment - and Indonesian firm Indorama - a global manufacturer of industrial products, including the plastics chemicals PET and PTA PTA or parent-teacher association: see parent education. , both of which were produced at the Wilton plant - were said to be in talks with administrators at Deloitte.

No one was available at Deloitte to comment.

Last week, most of the remaining 247 Artenius staff were made redundant - 137 had earlier lost their jobs following parent company La Seda de Barcelona's decision to put the plant up for sale as it sought a refinancing Refinancing
