Bicycle surgery planned.


A BIKE SURGERY is planned for Kirklees.

It is aimed at new and existing cyclists who want to learn more about maintaining their bikes.

All are invited to take part in the free drop-in bike surgery on July 23.

The event will give riders the chance to get a problem sorted out and learn something about maintenance and problem solving problem solving

Process involved in finding a solution to a problem. Many animals routinely solve problems of locomotion, food finding, and shelter through trial and error.

The event is free and everyone is welcome, including children and young people.

It will take place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Dewsbury Moor and Scout Hill Children's Centre on Heckmondwike Road.

The venue is within easy reach of the Spen Valley Spen Valley may refer to:

 from JB's Bike Shop in Ossett, will be the professional bike mechanic on hand to help, instruct and advise with some spare parts and tools available for purchase. Car parking is available at the Children's Centre at 100 Heckmondwike Road.

Clr David Sheard, Cabinet member for Highways said: "This is exactly the kind of event that is ideal for beginners, and those of us who have forgotten what we learned years ago, to start learning about maintenance of their bike".
