Bibby Sterilin to unveil stuart range at Achema. (Plant).


Bibby Sterilin will be showcasing their Stuart(r) science equipment products at this year's Achema exhibition. In particular. the company's comprehensive stirrer hotplates range will be on show.

The word ceramic is derived from the Greek word κεραμικός (keramikos).
 top stirrer hotplates, which are available in two large sizes, and sophisticated metal top digital models with excellent temperature control for applications such as in-situ hybridisation, microarraying, and the fixing of microscope slides.

Bibby Sterilin have also updated their SC5 colony counter Col´o`ny count`er   

n. 1. (Microbiology) an instrument designed to conveniently count or assist counting colonies of microorganisms on a plate containing a gelled growth medium.
. The lightweight and portable SC6 has a new averaging facility that allows the counting of multiple plates and the automatic calculation of the average.

Other new Stuart products on show include two new tube rotators, designed for life science applications. The SB2 model has a fixed speed, while the more advanced SB3 has variable speed control and digital timer timer,
n radiographic timing device that functions as an automatic exposure timer and a switch to control the current to the high-tension transformer and filament transformer. The face of the timer is calibrated in seconds and fractions of seconds.
