Bhojwani Becomes President of Commercial Business for Fireman's Fund Insurance Company.

Gary C. Bhojwani has been named president of Commercial Business for Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. Bhojwani previously was president of Lincoln General Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Kingsway Financial Services.

The Fireman's Fund Commercial Business segment produces an annual premium volume of approximately $1.8 billion in premiums by supplying a range of property and casualty coverages for small-to-medium-size American businesses. Commercial Business has developed special capabilities for insuring such niche businesses as agribusiness, major motion pictures, excess and special risk and surplus lines.

Bhojwani has demonstrated success at achieving profitable results. As president of Lincoln General Insurance Company, Gary guided the business to rapid growth and an improved bottom line. Lincoln General is a Pennsylvania-based, national insurance company, licensed in 49 states and with nearly $1 billion in annual commercial and personal lines premiums.

Prior to Lincoln General, Bhojwani was founder and president of Avalon Risk Management, a national underwriting manager, third-party administrator, and insurance brokerage. He also worked for seven years at Intercargo Corporation, where he began as a broker and served in a series of increasingly responsible positions that culminated in his being named president of the company's Trade Insurance Services subsidiary.

Bhojwani graduated in 1990 from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana Illinois where he was named to the Dean's List in Actuarial Science. He earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing (also with Dean's List honors) at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
