Bhatti asks students to help check entry of arms in educational institutions-- Govt reviewing scholarship quota for minority students.


RAWALPINDI, November 01, 2009 (Balochistan Times ): Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs Mr Shahbaz Bhatti has said the country needs educational revolution, youth should stand for peace against terrorism and help in checking the entry of arms, terrorism and sectarianism into educational institutions. Addressing the first Christian National Youth Conference on Responsibilities of Christian Youth in challenging time here on Sunday he said the Government is reviewing scholarship and quota policy for the students belonging to minorities in educational institutions. The conference was organized by Youth Alliance (Strengthening Church Youth Groups). People belonging to different walk of life attended the conference. Federal Minister further stated that young generation is an asset of our country. Pakistans prosperity and development depends on youth.
