E-commerce services provider Beyond.com(TM) (Nasdaq: "BYND") today announced that it has expanded its international stores with Symantec Corporation (Nasdaq: "SYMC SYMC Symantec Corporation (stock symbol) ") with the launch of two new Symantec international eStores, built and managed by Beyond.com. The new Symantec eStores for Brazil and Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies.  are located at http://br.symantecstore.com and http://la.symantecstore.com respectively. The addition of the new Brazilian and Latin American online stores bring the total number of eStores that Beyond.com has built and currently manages for Symantec to a total of 14.

Both of the new eStores are fully localized Translated into the spoken language of the country. See localization.  for their clientele, with the Brazilian store designed in Portuguese, and the Latin American store designed in Spanish. Additionally, both eStores have multi-currency capabilities - the Brazilian eStore accepts transactions in either the Brazilian Real The real (IPA: [xe'aw] or [ʁe'aɫ], symbol: R$, ISO 4217 code: BRL, plural: reais) is the currency of Brazil.
