Beyond.com(TM) (Nasdaq:BYND) today announced that it has been selected for the Palm Computing(R) Inc. Authorized Reseller Program, named "ResellerPro", effective immediately.

Under the terms of the agreement, Beyond.com will be authorized in the new ResellerPro program to sell, market and merchandise Palm Computing handheld organizer devices and related accessories to the government, as well as the consumer/SOHO markets.

The partnership expands an earlier agreement between the two companies. In December 1998, Palm selected Beyond.com to build an online Web store that caters to the software needs of Palm Computing organizer customers. Beyond.com has also sold a limited number of Palm products off its own website. With its new ResellerPro status, Beyond.com can now offer an expanded product line of Palm products to its consumer and SOHO Soho (sōhō`, sə–), district of Westminster, London, England, known for its continental restaurants. Once a fashionable quarter, it became popular among writers and artists in the 19th cent.  customers and market and sell Palm Computing handheld organizer devices and accessories to government agencies.

Additionally, the Palm Showcase (http://www.beyond.com/hardware/showcase/palmpilot.htm) provides product information and customer ratings for Palm handheld devices. And Beyond.com's Palm Platinum Center, (http://www.beyond.com/palm.htm) provides customers with a guide to software and accessories that have successfully passed compatibility testing established by 3Com.
