Beyond the gay sitcom?Great news for fans of Dennis Hensley's hilarious novel Misadventures misadventure n. a death due to unintentional accident without any violation of law or criminal negligence. Thus, there is no crime. (See: homicide) in the (213): The book may become an hour-long series on NBC. At first glance Misadventures' premise of a gay guy-straight woman friendship resembles that of hit sitcom Will & Grace. But Hensley's series will delve deeper into the joys and pains of Los Angeles life for a group of talented young wanna-bes. "It's about the last time in life when it's still fun to be a failure," he says. The project does face one glitch A temporary or random hardware malfunction. It is possible that a bug in a program may cause the hardware to appear as if it had a glitch in it and vice versa. At times it can be extremely difficult to determine whether a problem lies within the hardware or the software. See glitch attack.: Now that gay mecca West Hollywood, Calif., has run out of 213 area-code phone numbers and has been issued 323 numbers instead, Hensley's title is outdated. "We haven't decided what we'll do about that," he grouses. "If it wasn't for all those porn stars with all those pagers, we could have kept our area code." |
