Beyond performance: alternative careers in dance.For many dancers, the ultimate dream is to perform as a livelihood. The reality, however, is that there are far more dancers than there are paid positions in professional dance companies. It is likely you will have to consider other ways to make a living. The good news: You don't have to forgo your love of dance in order to pay the rent.
