Beyond Genomics, Inc. (BG) today announced that Stephen A. Martin, PhD, has joined the Company as Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. Dr. Martin joins BG from Applied Biosystems Applied Biosystems, Inc. (formerly NASDAQ: ABIO) is the original name of a pioneer biotechnology company founded in 1981 in Foster City, California, among the Silicon Valley cities of the southern San Francisco Bay Area.  and brings over 23 years' experience in life science research. At BG, Dr. Martin will be responsible for the continued development and integration of the Company's Molecular Systems Biology Molecular Systems Biology is a scientific journal which covers systems biology at the molecular level with research in the fields of genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, bioinformatics, microbial systems, and the integration of cell signaling and regulatory networks.  platforms. His contribution is expected to accelerate the application and commercialization of BG's proprietary technology, enabling a powerful new approach to the discovery and development of therapeutic and diagnostic products.
