Beware inquisitional fundamentalists.


The church-state issue of most concern to me as a scientist is the Religious Right challenge to science, and you have my deepest thanks for your persistence and competence on this topic. Accordingly, Eugenie Scott Eugenie Carol Scott (born October 24 1945) is an American physical anthropologist who has been the executive director of the National Center for Science Education (NCSE) since 1987. She is a leading critic of creationism and its offshoot, intelligent design.  of the National Center for Science Education and Barry Lynn Two prominent Americans use the name Barry Lynn professionally, generally without including their middle initial:

By proposing that Christian fundamentalism be taught in science classes, creationists trivialize faith. They are saying that those who believe in God need confirmation by science (through the mouths of biology teachers) to validate their faith and sell it to children. How ironic that those who demand the Bible be taken literally should effectively edit out the Book of Job.
