Levyn, who served one-year terms in 1996, 1999 and 2003, is leaving Agapay Levyn & Hailing LLP, a firm established in 1974. Christensen Miller, which had been representing the city in its defense of a suit brought by Erin Brokovich over alleged illness caused by an oil well on city property, has recused itself as oversight counsel for the city in the case.
