She first appeared in Playboy magazine in October 1993 and was named Playmate of the Year in its June 1994 issue. . Twice nominated by the Casting Society of America for her work on "Barbershop" (2002) and "Narc" (2002), Vernieu has been responsible for casting many box office hits. Some of her recent credits include "Barbershop" 1 and 2, "Scooby Doo" 1 and 2, "Spy Kids" 1, 2 and 3, "Scary Movie," "Three Kings" and "Training Day." Kates stated, "Beverly Hills Film Studios is proud and extremely pleased to have signed Ms. Vernieu. Her skills at bringing stellar box office talent to such a viable film package will be a tremendous enhancement for this production."
