An original screenplay, "Nothing Compares To You," will also be directed by Gross. Principal photography is set to begin in early 2005. Already creating an Oscar buzz for 2004, Larry Gross wrote "We Don't Live Here Anymore" released this past summer by Fox Searchlight, starring Mark Ruffalo, Laura Dern and Naomi Watts. "We Don't Live Here Anymore" was the winner of this year's prestigious Waldo Salt Screenwriter's Award at the Sundance Film Festival, and was hailed by the New Yorker as "easily the best American movie so far this year." Larry's first film as a writer "48 Hours", was directed by Walter Hill, which placed in the top five at the box office on release, effectively launched Eddie Murphy as major film star. Larry Gross continued his collaboration with Walter Hill with "Streets of Fire" and "Geronimo: An American Legend."
