Betterton-Hill. (2003 Wedding Register).


Brandi Leigh Betterton and John Chadwick John Chadwick (21 May 1920 – 24 November 1998) was an English linguist and classical scholar most famous for his role in deciphering Linear B, along with Michael Ventris.  Hill were united in marriage at six in the evening on July 27, 2002, in a candlelight ceremony at Christ United Methodist Church United Methodist Church, in the United States, religious body formed by the union in 1968 of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Methodist Church (see Methodism).  in Jackson.

Rev. Ted Giordano and Rev. David Cox officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jerry Betterton of Florence. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Warren of Pelahatchie, Mrs. R. L. Betterton and the late R. L. Betterton of Bruce. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Walter Hill of Oxford. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Owens of Holly Springs and Mrs. George Edward Hill and the late George Edward Hill of Holly Springs.

Honorary bridesmaids were Lisa Risher Burns, Jessica Rae Cooper, Leah Kathleen Diestel, and Anna Elizabeth Penick. Proxy bride was Traci Diane Copeland. John Walter Hill, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Lawrence Thomas Fleenor, Brad Steven Freeman, Bradley Allen Henderson, George Jacob Hill, Stanley Keith Hill, Walter Edward Hill, David Carleton Morris, Robert Dale Morgan, James Blair Webb, James Alexander Williamson II, and Trenton Lawrence Wright. Miss Anna Owens and Miss Bailey Owens served as program attendants.

Following the ceremony, the Steele Magnolia carried the wedding party to the Country Club of Jackson, where the bride's parents honored the couple with a reception. The band 24-7 provided entertainment.

On the eve On the Eve (Накануне in Russian) is the third novel by famous Russian writer Ivan Turgenev, best known for his short stories and the novel Fathers and Sons.  of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at River Hills Tennis Club. A bridesmaids' luncheon was hosted by Melissa Harrell, Rosemary Morrow, Stephanie Daniels, Marney Dees, Margaret Blake Easterling, Pam Easterling, and Rachelle Simmons at Ms. Harrell's home in Brandon.

Following their honeymoon to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Nashville.
