Better world awards deadline approaching. (ASAE Awards).


June June: see month.  15, 2002, is the deadline for the Associations Make a Better World Awards, which recognize outstanding examples of association programs, projects, and activities that make a significant contribution to societies and economies worldwide. The approaching deadline is for all programs conducted between June 2000 and May 2001.

The awards are presented annually to recognize the valuable contributions made by associations working internationally, including those based outside the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. . Programs that cross national borders are especially encouraged. (Associations based in the United States should submit domestically oriented o·ri·ent

1. Orient The countries of Asia, especially of eastern Asia.

a. The luster characteristic of a pearl of high quality.

b. A pearl having exceptional luster.

3.
 programs to the Associations Advance America Awards.)

One award will be given for the following categories: economic achievement, social achievement, and advocacy or policy achievement. Recipients will be recognized at the ASAE ASAE American Society of Association Executives
ASAE American Society of Agricultural Engineers (Society for Engineering in Agricultural, Food, and Biological Systems)
ASAE Alkali-Sulfite-Anthraquinone-Ethanol
 Annual Meeting and Exposition exposition or exhibition, term frequently applied to an organized public fair or display of industrial and artistic productions, designed usually to promote trade and to reflect cultural progress.  in Denver, Colorado (August 17-20. 2002), and at the World Congress of Association Executives in Cancun, Mexico (August 22-25). There is no charge for entries, which can be easily submitted through the official online award entry form at shop.asaenet.org/forms/registrations/betterworld.html.
