Better kitchen waste recycling.


WREXHAM households are to get new kitchen caddies and blue recycling bags to give them more opportunities to recycle and compost their waste.

The move follows a successful pilot of 6,000 homes during July.

The caddies are to be used in kitchens to collect food waste. When they're full the waste is tipped into the green bin along with garden waste.

 can also be put into the green bin. The contents of the green bin will be taken to the new composting unit on Wrexham Industrial Estate The Wrexham Industrial Estate is the largest industrial estate in north Wales, (2nd largest in United Kingdom. by size) situated on the eastern side of the town of Wrexham.  where it will be turned into a soil improver.

The new blue bag, which replaces the green bag, will take all other cardboard, such as the type breakfast cereals This is a list of breakfast cereals. Many cereals are trademarked brands of large companies such as Kellogg's, General Mills, Malt-O-Meal, NestlĂ©, The Quaker Oats Company, and Post Cereals, but similar equivalent products are often sold by other manufacturers and as store own  come in as well as newspapers, magazines and office paper .
