Better body in two weeks?

Been putting off your workouts or been unsuccessful in sticking to your healthy diet plans? All isn't lost, says celebrity trainer David Kirsch in The Ultimate New York Body Plan. Kirsch, who has worked with professional models and was the fitness guru on ABC's Extreme Makeover reality program, says he has an intense nutrition and fitness plan that can reshape your body in as little as two weeks. But it's not easy, he warns. Here are three tips from his book to get you started on the way to a quicker improved you:

Motivate yourself. It takes commitment and stamina to transform your body in such a short amount of time. The trick is to find a challenge--something that evokes passion and meaning in your life.

Stay in touch with yourself. Keeping track of your thoughts, feelings, and progress in a journal will help you through the toughest days and help you correct any problems.

Schedule exercise time. Sit down with your day planner and make exercise appointments for each of the next 14 days. Then be sure to keep them.
