The new space, comprising the entire 15,000-square-foot 12th floor, will serve as an addition to the Hospital's administrative offices already located on the third, fourth and fifth floors of the 300,000 square foot tower. With its new addition, Beth Israel Beth Israel, which means "House of Israel" in Hebrew, could refer for:
  • Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
  • Beth Israel Medical Center, New York City, New York
  • Temple Beth Israel
  • Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford, Connecticut
 now occupies 60,000 square feet in the building.

The opportunity to expand presented itself when the space's previous tenant, Mason Tenders District Council, recently purchased a nearby building at 32-36 West 18th Street. Indicative of the close relationship it enjoyed with its former landlord, the Union just appointed S .L. Green as that building's leasing and managing agent.
