Beth Haggerty Named InfoRocket CEO; Go Network/Infoseek Veteran To Lead Start-up Focused on Personalized Answers and Advice.

Ms. Haggerty's role at Go Network included overseeing business development and sales for Infoseek/Go.com, ESPN.com, ABCNEWS.com, Wall of Sound.com and Mr. Showbiz. As an officer of Infoseek Corporation, Ms. Haggerty also worked with the Infoseek executive management team on strategic direction and planning for all aspects of the portal business. Ms. Haggerty officially left her position at the Go Network in December.

Prior to joining Infoseek in August of 1997, Ms. Haggerty held several senior management roles at CMP CMP (cytidine monophosphate): see cytosine.
