HER most famous catchphrase may be "That's hot!" but Paris Hilton has somehow managed to join the ranks of the literati.

The Barbie look-a-like has made a surprising appearance in the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations for her pithy observation: "Dress cute wherever you go, because life is too short to blend in."

Her noteworthy saying is just one of more than 20,000 entries contained in the prestigious catalogue and she shares pages with luminaries such as Stephen Hawking and Oscar Wilde.

Although we're happy that Paris has finally put her brains in gear we, at the Irish Daily Mirror, like to bring our celebs back to earth with a bump.
