(NASDAQ:JNPR) today announced that Bestel, a leading telecommunications provider in Mexico, has upgraded its national IP/MPLS backbone and broadband edge networks with Juniper Networks E- and M-series routers. The E- and M-series deliver advanced Quality of Service capabilities and superior scalability, enabling Bestel to support growing demand for its carrier-grade Voice over IP (VoIP) and multiplay service offerings with increased reliability and performance.

Bestel selected Juniper Networks M-series to improve the reliability and performance of its core network, and will use the E-series Broadband Services Routers to support advanced quality of service and broadband subscriber management capabilities for its new multiplay service offering.
