BestWeek: New Top Global Broker Rankings With a New Number One.


OLDWICK, N.J. -- The 2007 ranking of the top global insurance brokers is featured in the new BestWeek U.S./Canada, and there is a new top dog. But how will the recent $2.1 billion acquisition of eighth ranked Hilb Rogal Hobbs & Co. by third ranked Willis Group Holding Ltd. affect the top 10?

Also, in BestWeek U.S./Canada:

--Travelers rose to fourth place in A.M. Best's ranking of the top 200 U.S. property/casualty groups, based on 2007 net premiums written.
