 family reported the biggest increase on this year's list, jumping 16 spots to No. 8 this year with an 82.2 percent rise in sales. The Ford Explorer is a mid-size sport utility vehicle sold in North America and built by the Ford Motor Company since 1990.
 remained on the list but its sales fell 41.8 percent. One bright spot for Ford was the Mustang mustang [Sp. mesteño=a stray], small feral horse of the W United States. Mustangs are descended from escaped Native American horses, which in turn were descended from horses of North African blood, brought to the New World by the Spanish c.1500. , which debuted on this year's list at No. 25.

Overall, the 25 best-selling cars and light trucks in L.A. County accounted for 219,745 vehicles sold for the 12-month period ended June 30. This represents an 883-vehicle increase over the like period a year earlier.

CAMRY

TOYOTA'S mid-priced sedan Sedan (sədäN`), town (1990 pop. 22,407), Ardennes dept., NE France, on the Meuse River. A noted textile center since the 16th cent., Sedan also has metal and brewing industries. The town became part of French crown lands in 1642.  tops the list of best-selling vehicles in L.A.
