Best whole body exercise.

SWIMMING is one of the best exercises for oldies Oldies is a generic term commonly used to describe a radio format that usually concentrates on Top 40 music from the '50s, '60s and '70s.

Oldies are typically from R&B, pop and rock music genres.
 and young people because it is one of the few whole body exercises which gives every muscle and joint a work out.

What makes it particularly attractive is that the water gives you buoyancy buoyancy (boi`ənsē, b`yən–), upward force exerted by a fluid on any body immersed in it. Buoyant force can be explained in terms of Archimedes' principle.  making it gentle on your joints.

And it is extremely good for oldies as it keeps joints moving and muscle memory in tact. It can also help painful parts of the body learn to move again because they are cushioned by water. It is one of the favoured forms of exercise of physiotherapists.

It is also a sport kids love to learn because they love splashing about in the water. It is a skill parents should start to teach early, if possible before children are three as it can save lives.

Finally, it makes a great activity for the whole family - even granny Granny
