BOXING: David Haye Boxing career
David Haye aka "Hayemaker" was born 13 October 1980 and is a British boxer who fights in the Cruiserweight division.

Based in Bermondsey, England, Haye started out as an amateur winning a silver medal in the heavyweight division at the 2001 World
, whose speed and power made him undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world, is convinced he can do even better at heavyweight now he does not have to starve off 30lbs before each fight.

The 28-year-old Londoner aims to emulate hero Evander Holyfield by graduating from cruiserweight to heavyweight, starting against Monte Barrett at the 02 Arena tomorrow.

Victory would take a him a sizeable step towards a showdown with Wladimir Klitschko, the IBF IBF
