LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 23, 2002

The best in western music, poetry and collectibles will be presented as Sam's Town Hotel and Casino plays host to the 14th annual international festival of the Western Music Association. The festival will be held November13 to 17th.

The festival, which is open to the public, begins on Wednesday, November 13 with a VIP cocktail reception which will benefit the Cowboy Cancer Crusade. Music for the event will be provided by Prairie Rose Prairie Rose may refer to the following:

Thursday, Friday and Saturday daytime hours will offer a buffet of new talent showcases, songwriting seminars and a trade show featuring one of a kind collectibles. Thursday night is the annual Awards Show featuring the talents of today's top western entertainers.

The family of Dale Evans will present a very personal look at some of the private videos never released on America's favorite cowgirl. They will share some family stories as the audience is privy to clips of Dale's screen test and other special moments in her life.

Friday night Riders In The Sky will be roasted by some of the top stars in virtually every genre of entertainment. The 25th anniversary celebration of this popular group is bound to keep you laughing for months to come. Following the roast, take your choice of a swing dance or a guitar pull by the pool.

Saturday night will be an old-fashioned radio show with entertainment by today's top western entertainers. Again, on Saturday night a swing dance and guitar pull will end the night.
