Key3Media Group, Inc. (OTCBB:KMED), today announced that nominations are now being accepted for the Best of Show Awards, held during NetWorld+Interop and COMDEX Atlanta, taking place on September 9-13, 2002 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Best of Show Awards, sponsored by CMP Media and NetWorld+Interop and COMDEX, honor the leading products and technologies exhibited at this premier conference.

"The Best of Show Awards recognize the latest technological advancements in specific category areas. After submission, a panel of expert judges, editors and contributors from CMP Media's sponsoring publications, will determine finalists in eight categories. These finalists will then vie for the Best of Show Awards at the show. The judges will consider only those products making their debut at the show and that advance the state of distributed computing and networking. Winners will be announced in an awards ceremony at NetWorld+Interop and COMDEX Atlanta on Tuesday, September 10.

Eligible products or services must be announced on or after August 15, 2002, with a product release date no later than December 31, 2002, and must be available for public viewing at NetWorld+Interop and COMDEX Atlanta. In addition to naming a product Best of Show, the judging teams will choose a winner for each of the following categories:

-- Convergence Technology

-- Network Application Software

-- Network Management

-- Network Servers, Peripherals, and Storage

-- Performance Enhancement, Test and Measurement

-- Security

-- Wireless Technology

-- Best Start-up
