Best of Georgia Award Winners Announced; Government Technology Conference Salutes IT Professionals in Government for Their Contributions to Improving Services to Citizens.ATLANTA -- Public agencies and leaders in Georgia will be honored for their outstanding information technology innovations and contributions to the region on November 3. The Best of Georgia Awards ceremony takes place during the Government Technology Conference (GTC GTC See: Good 'til cancelled order GTC See good-till-canceled order (GTC). ), being held November 3 - 5 at the Georgia International Convention Center The Georgia International Convention Center or GICC, opened in April 2003, is the second largest convention center in the State of Georgia: second only to the Georgia World Congress Center. It is located at 2000 Convention Center Concourse, just off of Camp Creek Parkway (S. (GICC GICC Genting International Convention Centre (Malaysia) GICC Gaussian Interference Channel with Common Information ). The award presentation will take place during a reception from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the International Ballroom, Salon I of the GICC. GTC's Best of Georgia awards program was established to salute IT professionals in Georgia state and local government organizations for their dedication, hard work and contributions. The winners are selected based on a set of criteria, including collaboration between agencies, innovative use of technology, and improvement of services to citizens.

In addition to the Best of Georgia Awards, GTC is hosting a technology expo, training on technology issues and keynote presentations featuring Richard A. DeMillo, Dean of Computing computing - computer at Georgia Institute of Technology Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta, Ga.; coeducational; state supported; chartered 1885, opened 1888. It is a member school in the university system of Georgia. Significant among its facilities and programs are the Frank H. , College of Computing; and Glover Glov´er n. 1.
