A COMPETITION to find the best young builder from across the construction trades is looking for nominations from our region.

The regional heat of the national contest, called Skill Build, is coming to the City of Sunderland College City of Sunderland College is one of the largest Further Education and Sixth Form Colleges in the UK based in Sunderland.

The college is a multi-centre establishment, with sites throughout North East England. on June 25.

The competition, which is run by Construction Skills, is open to anyone aged 17 to 22 who is currently training in construction in further education colleges or work-based apprenticeships.
