A Wreath for Emmett Till Emmett Louis "Bobo" Till (July 25 1941 – August 28 1955) was a fourteen year old African-American boy from Chicago, Illinois brutally murdered [1] in Money, Mississippi, a small town in the state's Delta region.  by Marilyn Nelson, illustrated by Philippe Lardy Philippe Lardy, born in Switzerland in 1963, is an illustrator and painter. He attends the School of Visual Arts in the late 80's in New York.
