Comparable store sales for the four week-period ended January 27, 1996 decreased 11.4% compared to the same period in 1995.

Fiscal year sales for the 53 weeks ended February 3, 1996 decreased 1.7% to $1,495.2 million compared to $1,521.2 million for the 52 weeks ended January 28, 1995. Comparable store sales for the 52 weeks ended January 27, 1996 decreased 7.5% to $1,375.1 million compared to $1,486.3 million for the same period ended January 28, 1995.
