CheckUPS II gives system administrators and computer users a complete record of critical UPS and power-line events. Event logs may be plotted over a user-specified time period on the computer screen. The Graphic Display Module helps users spot, diagnose, and react more effectively to problems as they happen. CheckUPS II also provides automatic, unattended shutdown when needed.

The initial release of the CD-ROM offers power management, monitoring and automatic shutdown for DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows NT (Windows New Technology) A 32-bit operating system from Microsoft for Intel x86 CPUs. NT is the core technology in Windows 2000 and Windows XP (see Windows).
