BITSource, a developer of Web store technology, created a store for Computize Inc., a $100-million VAR, that the Summit Awards judges ranked as the best online reseller site, primarily because of its exceptional customer service and helpfulness. The BITSource store is specifically designed to serve corporate accounts, and it includes such features as customer-specific pricing, volume license configurations, internal order routing, and license management tools. The store also features "The Software Guy," an interactive product selection module that helps customers pick products based on personalized criteria.

Computize reports that the first high-service BITSource store it deployed paid off almost at once: A major account switched $500,000 in software sales to Computize from another reseller.
