STOCKHOLM, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 14, 2001

Cell Network has signed a partnership agreement with Nasdaq-listed Compuware, one of the world's leading manufacturers of test tools for IT systems.

The agreement means the companies will target the Swedish market jointly during 2001.

Some ten consultants from Cell Network Sweden have been trained in a range of Compuware test tools, with the aim of quality assuring advanced IT solutions for large and small companies. With the right test, customers can reduce the cost of developing and maintaining their IT support.

"There's a growing demand from companies and organisations for tests for their IT support, including loading tests. It's no longer high speed connections, such as broadband, that are the bottleneck A lessening of throughput. It often refers to networks that are overloaded, which is caused by the inability of the hardware and transmission lines to support the traffic. It can also refer to a mismatch inside the computer where slower-speed peripheral buses and devices prevent the CPU , but companies' own websites and e-commerce systems. "Together with Cell's consultants, we can improve our service to our customers in Sweden. Among other things, we can make the process more effective by implementing and adapting our products to the customer's system," says Patrick Brodin, head of marketing at Compuware Sweden.

Cell Network Sweden and Compuware have worked together previously on test methods for the Swedish Civil Emergency Planning Agency.
