Best Fishing Poles for Beginners

I just love to go fishing. A lot of people like to go fishing and I would say that it is a more popular sport/hobby than say hunting. There is no need for some noisy gun that requires bullets, all you need to go fishing is the proper pole, fishing line and lure/bait.

I just love to go fishing. A lot of people like to go fishing and I would say that it is a more popular sport/hobby than say hunting. There is no need for some noisy gun that requires bullets, all you need to go fishing is the proper pole, fishing line and lure/bait.

Sadly I do not get to go fishing as much as I would like but when I do it is fun. I own a lot of poles and poles do have different feels to them and quality. I have bought poles only to have them break a year later while catching a fish. One pole I had bought broke on me while I was fishing and it was almost as if it was dry rotted or something. It was a real disappointment as I had paid a pretty good amount for it.

Here are a couple of poles that I suggest for beginners looking for a quality built pole that will last for years.

Shimano Scimitar:

This pole is a great pole from Shimano. It is a light weight pole which is a plus. I recently found a lightweight pole left behind at one of our private ponds from a trespasser and it is amazing how light a pole can be and still function. This Shimano Scimitar also offers these features:

Lightweight Aluminum Oxide guides
Cork handles
Hook keeper
Graphite Composite Blank Construction
One Year Limited Warranty

The next real I recommend is the Falcon Original series rod.

This rod has been tested in 25 tournaments and is a very popular rod. The new series may look different if you have ever seen the old versions of these rods but just like the old versions these rods offer just the right amount of sensitivity, strength and durability.

Another awesome rod is the G. Loomis GL2.

This rod right here is amazing. It offers you just a taste of what the professional rods by this company can do. This rod has amazing strength but yet it is very light weight. It is also a very sensitive rod which will help you land that big fish easier. Sensitivity really helps you know when that big lunker is on your pole so you can set the hook in a hurry and real the big fish in!

Another awesome thing about this rod is the fact that it has a limited LIFETIME warranty on it. How many other poles do you know of that offer this? You won''t find this on your cheap poles. This company stands behind their work because they know that their product is top quality and will last you for years to come!

Any of these three poles would be a good choice for any beginner. These poles have been tested and are top quality. Do not go out and get junk, you will be glad that you bought quality instead!

At our shop fishing poles for sale, you''ll find reviews of fishing rods for beginners and deals on recommended fishing poles like the Shimano Scimitar rod.
