Best Buy to Hire Approximately 400 Employees; Two New Locations to Open in New Jersey This Fall.

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 28, 2001

Best Buy Co., Inc. will hire approximately 400 employees, 200 per store, for two new locations in New Jersey; Paramus and Manalapan, bringing the state store count to 11. Both stores are scheduled to open this fall. The new stores will be located at:
-- Manalapan, New Jersey at Route 9 and Craig Road

-- Paramus, New Jersey at Route 17 at Ridgewood Avenue in the Fashion Center

Best Buy will open a total of 5 stores in the New York/New Jersey metro this

fall, and is on track for the planned 40 stores in the New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 market by 2004.

Those interested in working at the new Best Buy locations can now apply for a job by simply making a phone call.

The application takes approximately six minutes. Each candidate needs their social security number, as well as the store number - Paramus is No.344, Manalapan is No.388. The applicant is notified while on the phone if they meet employment requirements and their electronic application is then forwarded to Best Buy's management team.
