Best Buy now open at NRDC plaza.

Best Buy celebrated its grand opening recently at National Realty & Development Corp.'s (NRDC) Hawley Lane Plaza located in Trumbull, CT.

Best Buy joins Target, Kohl's Department Store and HomeGoods as well as 20 other specialty retail shops and restaurants such as Dress Barn, Radio Shack, Payless ShoeSource and Dunkin' Donuts.

The 54,000 s/f multi-media store occupies the Plaza's upper level. Best Buy can be accessed by a new entrance driveway via Hawley Lane that provides direct access to the upper level and recently expanded parking field that is shared with a freestanding Target.

The store can also be accessed through the Plaza's interior via a new escalator and elevator system which provides improved interior access between the upper and lower levels of the center.

Hawley Lane Plaza has undergone extensive renovation both on the interior and exterior. The renovations include the installation of new carpeting, lighting signage, and wall finishes on the interior, as well as exterior facade improvements such as the addition of canopies, expansive windowed storefronts, added store access points, and site lighting and paving.

Also scheduled to open this summer at the Plaza is a 9,000 s/f Joyce Leslie. Access to the store will be through the interior of the Plaza as well as through a newly constructed entrance off the front parking fields.

Joyce Leslie currently has 45 stores in operation across Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
