The MPC currently has more than 10 million unique SKUs and provides OEM model and part cross-referencing, descriptions, exploded views, schematics and other service related information. The result is a comprehensive solution that ties together all parts and service information across multiple brands in multiple product categories in a single standardized, searchable common retrieval system.

The MPC has been integrated into Best Buy's existing work order processing system giving technicians a single destination to research and order parts needed to service products. The catalog eliminates the need for technicians to manage hundreds of parts research tools such as Web sites, CD-ROMs, microfiche Pronounced "micro-feesh."
